Oaken Mail
Oaken Mail is a local-first, AI-native mail client. Mail is pulled to local disk, processed by a local LLM and embedder at ingest time, and stored in a form that makes search and question answering cheap in tokens. Nothing leaves your machine unless you explicitly configure a remote endpoint. Its core offering is a local MCP server over that store, so a stronger model can work on sensitive mail without the mail leaving your machine.
Status: pre-alpha. There is nothing to install or set up yet.
