GenesisAeon Package 93 — real ocean deoxygenation science. Deliberately has no UTAC/CREP/AFET bridge — see DISCLAIMER.md.

What's real here

  • Schmidtko et al. (2017, Nature): >2% global ocean oxygen decline over the past 5 decades, <15% attributable to warming-driven solubility loss.
  • Breitburg et al. (2018, Science): 1-2% inventory loss since the mid-20th century, 700+ worsening coastal sites, projected 1-7% further loss and +50% hypoxic volume by 2100.
  • Oschlies (2021, Nature Communications): under zero future emissions, <25% of eventual committed deoxygenation is realized today — much more is already locked in, especially in the deep ocean.
