Installation

This module depends on:

• fieldservice (this repository)

• web_view_google_map and base_google_map from OCA/geospatial

Install those dependencies before installing this module.

Configuration

To configure this module, you need to:

1. Obtain a Google Maps API key with Maps JavaScript API (and ideally Geocoding / Places) enabled in Google Cloud Console.

2. Go to Settings > General Settings, open the Google Maps View section, and set API key. Without a valid key the map view opens but Google shows “This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly”.

3. Optionally set map theme, language and region in the same section.

4. Go to Field Service > Configuration > Stages and set stage names used by the order map colors (New, Completed, Cancelled by default).

Usage

To use this module, you need to:

1. Go to Field Service > Master Data > Locations.

2. Provide full address information and geolocalize the location.

3. Go to Field Service > Dashboard.

4. Open the map view to show orders on a Google Map, colored by stage.
