Adds ISH, ISN, and IEPS 200% taxes to the Mexican localization

Mexico - Additional Taxes (ISH, ISN, IEPS 200%)

This module adds additional Mexican taxes to the accounting localization:

• ISH (Impuesto Sobre Hospedaje): Tax on Lodging at rates from 0% to 5% (including half-point increments), for both sales and purchases.

• ISN (Impuesto Sobre Nómina): State Payroll Tax at rates 1%, 2%, 3%, and 4%, with a dedicated expense account (603.29.01).

• IEPS 200%: Special Tax on Production and Services at 200%, for both sales and purchases with cash basis accounting.

Configuration

No additional configuration is required. The taxes, accounts, and tax groups are loaded automatically when the module is installed on a company using the Mexican localization (chart template “mx”).

Usage

Install this module on a company that uses the Mexican chart of accounts. The additional taxes and accounts will be automatically added to the chart template.

• ISH: Available in customer invoices and vendor bills tax dropdowns. Select the rate that corresponds to the state where the lodging is provided.

• ISN: Available only in manual journal entries (type “none”). Use it to record the monthly payroll tax payment.

• IEPS 200%: Available in customer invoices and vendor bills. Applies to products subject to the 200% IEPS rate.
