Sale Order Report Hide Discounts by Partner

This module allows you to show the discounts on sale reports if based on the partner.

In order not to show the discounts in the sale reports, on the one hand hide the discount columns and on the other hand recalculate the unit price including the discount.

Installation

To install this module, you need to:

1. Only install

Configuration

To configure this module, you need to:

1. Go to the contacts module

2. Create or Edit a parent contact

3. Go to Sale & Purchase tab

4. Edit the ‘Show Discounts in Sales’ field

To configure unit price decimal precision to show the unit price with discounts:

1. With developer permissions go to Technical settings.

2. Go to Decimal Accuracy.

3. Go to ‘Sale Price Unit With Discount’

4. Set the decimal places you want to display in the unit price column of sales reports.

Usage

To use this module, you need to:

1. Go to the Sales module

2. Create a new Quotation

3. Select a partner. You will see that the Show discounts field defaults to the partner, but you can edit it.

4. Add lines to the quotation with a discount.

5. Print the Quotation/Order/Pro-forma.

ROADMAP

The Show discounts field of the partner is always taken from the value set in the parent contact.
