Stock Lock Lot

This module allows you to define whether a Serial Number/lot is blocked or not. The default value can be set on the Product Category, in the field “Block new Serial Numbers/lots”. Is possible to specify in a location if locked lots are allowed to move there.

Configuration

To allow a user to block or unblock a Lot:

1. Open the user settings (menu “Settings > Users & Companies > Users”)

2. In the “Inventory” section, check the box “Allow to block/unblock Serial Numbers/Lots” (if not visible, enable debug mode)

To allow move locked lots to a location:

1. Open the locations (menu “Inventory > Configuration > Warehouse Management > Locations”)

2. Select a location and tick the checkbox “Allow Locked”

Usage

To use this module, you need to:

1. Go to Inventory > Products > Lots/Serial Numbers

2. Select one ‘Lot/Serial Number’ and check ‘Blocked’ field

3. Now you cannot move that ‘Lot/Serial Number’ to any location that does not have the ‘Allow Locked’ field checked
