German SteuerNummer validation

Steuernummer VAT validator

This module was written to extend the functionality of base_vat to support validation of german SteuerNummer following this schema: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steuernummer

Usage

To use this module, you need to:

1. Go to Contacts.

2. Create a new record.

3. Put a SteuerNummer in the VAT field preceded by ‘DE’.

4. It won’t fail.

Known issues / Roadmap

• This validator only checks that number is 10 or 11 digit length. Validation depends on Tax Office that generates the SteuerNummer.
