okin_gui
Organic Kinetic GUI. Contains simple tools for kinetic analysis and teaching.
Install
Base Version
- Create and activate a dedicated environment
pip install okin_gui
With Modeling
-
make sure COPASI is installed (https://copasi.org/Download/)
-
download and unzip 'python implementation of COPASI': https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cVNLU4SBsz0JhC48MO69wVSLH-RpyIt6/view?usp=sharing
-
OR clone github repo of 'python implementation of COPASI'
https://gitlab.com/heingroup/py_copasi -
create a text file named
copasi_path.txtin the folder you want to run the GUI from -
add the path to the previously downloaded 'python implementation of COPASI' to
copasi_path.txtas plain text
Run from Python File
- make a python file that imports the gui with
import okin_gui - execute this file in the dedicated environment
Run from Terminal
- open a terminal in the folder with
copasi_path.txt - activate the dedicated environment
- enter python shell via:
python - in the python shell type:
import okin_gui
