ontologiq-databricks

Databricks adapter for Ontologiq.

Not on PyPI yet — ships with the next ontologiq release.

pip install "ontologiq[serve]" ontologiq-databricks

The connection policy prefers your Databricks CLI login — no token to manage:

# ontologiq.yml
adapter: databricks
connection:
  profile: my-workspace # a profile from ~/.databrickscfg
  http_path: /sql/1.0/warehouses/abc123 # the SQL warehouse's HTTP path
  catalog: main
  schema: ontologiq

Or explicitly, with a token interpolated from the environment (never in git):

connection:
  server_hostname: dbc-xxxx.cloud.databricks.com
  access_token: "{{ env.DATABRICKS_TOKEN }}"
  http_path: /sql/1.0/warehouses/abc123
  catalog: main
  schema: ontologiq

catalog and schema are the session defaults — ontologiq run creates its views there.

Status: implemented and unit-tested; not yet driven against a live workspace in CI. Reports from real workspaces are exactly the feedback we want — please open an issue either way.

Documentation: docs.ontologiq.org/adapters.
