ophix-dbengine-cockroachdb
Distributed, PostgreSQL-compatible, built for multi-region fleets — CockroachDB support for Ophix.
If your infrastructure already spans regions, or you need a database that survives a node going down without paging you at 3am, a single-instance engine isn't what you're looking for. ophix-dbengine-cockroachdb lets any Ophix server run against CockroachDB instead — install the plugin, set DB_ENGINE=cockroachdb, done.
Bundles django-cockroachdb and psycopg2-binary. CockroachDB is a PostgreSQL-compatible
distributed SQL database.
Installation
pip install ophix-dbengine-cockroachdb
Set in .env:
DB_ENGINE=cockroachdb
DB_HOST=your-cockroachdb-host
DB_PORT=26257
DB_NAME=ophix_db
DB_USER=ophixuser
DB_PASSWORD=yourpassword
For TLS, set DB_SSL_CA to the path of your CA certificate.
