ophix-dbengine-mssql
Already standardized on SQL Server? Ophix doesn't force you onto something else.
Plenty of shops run a Windows estate and a SQL Server fleet long before they ever hear about Ophix — the last thing anyone wants is a new tool that insists on its own database engine. ophix-dbengine-mssql lets any Ophix server run against SQL Server directly: install the plugin, set DB_ENGINE=sqlserver, done. Requires the Microsoft ODBC Driver (17 or 18) installed at the OS level.
Bundles mssql-django.
Installation
pip install ophix-dbengine-mssql
Set in .env:
DB_ENGINE=sqlserver
DB_HOST=your-sqlserver-host
DB_PORT=1433
DB_NAME=ophix_db
DB_USER=ophixuser
DB_PASSWORD=yourpassword
DB_SQLSERVER_ENCRYPT=yes
DB_SQLSERVER_TRUST_CERT=no
DB_SQLSERVER_DRIVER=ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server
