Overture STAC

PyPI - Version

Generate STAC catalogs for all public Overture Maps releases.

Setup

uv sync

Usage

gen-stac --output ./releases

# Debug mode (2 items per collection)
gen-stac --output ./releases --debug

# Custom worker count (default: 4)
gen-stac --output ./releases --workers 8

Development

uv run ruff format . && uv run ruff check . && uv run pytest

A justfile collects the common development commands. Install just with brew install just and run just to see the available recipes. For instance, just check runs the same lint, format, and test steps as CI.

Release

Once a GitHub Release has been created (and the pyproject.toml contains a version bump), publish-pypi.yml is triggered to publish to PyPI.

Manual dispatches of that workflow will publish to https://test.pypi.org/project/overture-stac/ for debugging and validation.
