A Python tool for downloading academic paper references.
Installation
pip install paperchaser
Features
- Download PDF files from DOI references
- Extract references from PDF files
- Search for papers using various identifiers
- Generate citation information
- Command-line interface with progress bars and table outputs
Usage
# Extract references from a PDF
paperchaser path/to/paper.pdf
# Download a paper using DOI
paperchaser download 10.1038/s41586-021-03819-2
