# pens: utilities for comparing paleoclimate reconstruction ensembles
pens provides a tools for comparing paleoclimate reconstruction ensembles to each other and to other traces, as used in [Emile-Geay et al. (2025)](https://doi.org/10.1175/JCLI-D-24-0101.1).
