Pi Module Pins

A Python package containing Raspberry Pi module pin configurations, including BCM GPIO numbers and physical header pin numbers.

Installation

python -m pip install pi-module-pins

Usage

from pi_module_pins import (
    list_modules,
    get_module,
    show_module,
    get_gpio,
    get_physical_pin,
)

# List available modules
print(list_modules())

# Display pin configuration
show_module("ultrasonic")

# Get BCM GPIO number
print(get_gpio("ultrasonic", "TRIG"))

# Get physical pin number
print(get_physical_pin("ultrasonic", "TRIG"))

# Get complete configuration
print(get_module("rc522"))

Available Modules

  • LED board
  • Ultrasonic sensor
  • LCD (4-bit mode)
  • Touch sensor
  • Buzzer
  • RC522 RFID reader

Compatibility

Designed for pin configurations using the standard 40-pin Raspberry Pi header.

Safety

Verify every pin assignment against your specific module and wiring before connecting hardware. The RC522 RFID reader requires 3.3V power; do not connect its VCC to 5V.
