Tools for particle identification (PID) correction for LHCb detector

Project description

PIDGen2

Introduction

PIDGen is a tool to resample PID variables in the full MC bases on distributions from calibration samples. PIDGen2 is a successor of the old PIDGen package. PIDGen2 is available via lb-conda and is supposed to replace the old PIDGen, both for Run 3 data, and for Run 1/Run 2. An analogous solution updating PIDCorr is under development (see here).
