polhemusFT
Windows x64 SWIG/C++ wrapper for Polhemus Fastrak trackers.
polhemusFT.cpp,polhemusFT.h,polhemusFT.i: active wrapper source.Inc/: headers from the Polhemus SDK.Lib/x64/: x64 import libraries and runtime DLLs from the vendor SDK.CMakeLists.txt: the only native build definition.
Build from the repository root:
python build-system/build_wheel.py polhemusFT
The destination computer may need the legacy Microsoft Visual C++ runtime
required by the vendor's PDI.dll.
Version 0.0.4 releases Python's GIL while native tracker calls are running.
Access to the shared Polhemus SDK device and the existing pose attributes is
serialized, so other Python threads can continue without racing tracker state.
Initialization now returns False if no first frame arrives within five
seconds instead of waiting indefinitely.
