polymarket-api
This is a reserved package name — a security-research placeholder with no functionality.
It exists to hold the name against squatting abuse and to measure organic install demand via PyPI's public download statistics. It contains no code, no dependencies, no install-time behavior, and makes no network calls.
If you installed this expecting Polymarket's API client: this is not it. The official Python client is py-clob-client (Polymarket on GitHub). Install software only from official repositories, and check the exact package name before running pip install.
