PromptReview Proxy (promptreview-proxy)
promptreview-proxy is a lightweight, local HTTP proxy forwarding server for the PromptReview VS Code Extension.
Features
- Local HTTP Proxying: Intercepts outbound LLM traffic from VS Code (
http.proxy). - Cloud Analytics Relay: Asynchronously logs prompt metadata to your API subdomain (
https://api.prompt-guard-ai.com/v1/prompts). - Dynamic Provider Routing: Forwards requests to target LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, Ollama, etc.) and streams responses back to VS Code.
Quick Start
Installation
pip install promptreview-proxy
Usage
Run the proxy server from command line:
promptreview-proxy
Or configure environment variables:
export PROXY_PORT=6767
export API_BASE_URL="https://api.prompt-guard-ai.com"
