Proximant

Proximant fits surrogate models to the runs you already have, from a solver, a test rig or a design sweep, and answers a new case in milliseconds with a stated band.

Proximant is not installed from PyPI. Bijective Systems delivers it as a licensed wheel file with a signed licence. This entry holds the name, so that pip install proximant cannot fetch someone else's package. It contains no software: importing it raises an error that says so.

If you hold a Proximant licence, uninstall this package and install the wheel you received:

pip uninstall proximant
pip install proximant-<version>-cp311-cp311-<platform>.whl

A note on package security

PyPI is a repository for distributing packages, not a service for auditing them. While third-party security researchers and our staff do their best to detect and remove malicious packages, PyPI cannot guarantee the quality, security or suitability of any given package.
