psquare-mcp has moved to parentsquare-mcp
This project name is retired. Development consolidated into the canonical
repository thehesiod/psquare-mcp,
which publishes to PyPI as parentsquare-mcp
and to the MCP Registry as
io.github.thehesiod/psquare.
psquare-mcp 0.3.0 was the last release to contain code. Versions 0.2.0–0.3.0
are frozen and will receive no fixes.
Update your install
pip uninstall psquare-mcp
pip install parentsquare-mcp
If you install it as an MCP server, point it at the new name and repository:
claude mcp add --transport stdio parentsquare -- \
uvx --from "parentsquare-mcp @ git+https://github.com/thehesiod/psquare-mcp" parentsquare-mcp
The executable is still called parentsquare-mcp, and the Python package is
still imported as parentsquare_mcp — only the distribution name changed.
Why this release exists
This version ships no code. It depends on parentsquare-mcp so that an existing
pip install psquare-mcp keeps working and pulls the maintained package, and so
this notice appears on the PyPI project page. Please switch to parentsquare-mcp
directly; this shim will not be updated.
