A configurable test orchestration framework for design verification testing (DVT) across regulated industries.
Status: Under active development. Not yet ready for use.
What is py-dvt?
py-dvt is a domain-agnostic Python framework for automating parameterised test execution with real-time measurement display, auditable results, and plugin-based extensibility.
Target domains include electronics DVT, pharmaceutical process validation, aerospace/defence environmental testing, and medical device verification.
Key Features (Planned)
- Declarative YAML-based test session configuration
- Async execution engine with condition matrix generation
- Real-time browser UI with WebSocket measurement streaming
- Plugin architecture for domain-specific resources and test procedures
- Per-condition checkpointing and session resume
- Auditable storage with PDF/HTML report generation
- Two-tier equipment safety model (coordinated shutdown + emergency safe-state)
