py-scanpackages
py-scanpackages is a simple dpkg-scanpackages alternative, written entirely in Python!
Installation
To install, run python -m pip install py-scanpackages.
NOTE:
Depends on ar (which is included in binutils) to extract debs.
Also requires additional setup (see here)
