Application to control an oscilloscope with GPIB

pyGPIBscope.py is a python script to acquire data from any oscilloscope (HP54111D for instance) made by Hewlett-Packard through the the USB-GPIB interface (82357A from Agilent)

Inspired from wxpyplot.py (http://www.cyberus.ca/~g_will/wxPython/wxpyplot.html) and from plot.py in wxpython, you can:

  • plot data on a windows through the USB-GPIB interface (82357A)

  • save in bmp, xbm, xpm, jpg, png image file

  • save in binary file .dat (see pspice - Orcad - Cadence)

  • save in stimuli file .stl (see pspice - Orcad - Cadence)

  • print

  • print preview

  • scrolls data (left, center, right)
