pybics
A placeholder. pybics will be an MIT-licensed client for the EBICS banking protocol — reading account
statements and submitting payment files without a browser.
Nothing is implemented yet. This release exists only to hold the name; it contains no working code, and importing
it does nothing useful. Do not depend on it until a 0.1 is published.
Why another one: the existing Python options are not usable in a commercial project. fintech (joonis) is
proprietary, and ebicsclient is source-available under PolyForm Noncommercial. pybics is written from the
public EBICS specification and released under the MIT licence.
