Install the package from pypi:

pip install pyimport

Alternatively, you can clone the repo:

git clone

Running tests

Tests are not included in the package build. Clone the repo to include all the source files.

pytest tests


Docs are not included in the package build. Clone the repo to include all the source files.

To automatically update the documentation generation configuration:

python updateDocs

Documentation can be generated locally:

python generateDocs

Then to view the generated docs visit ./build/sphinx/html/pyimport/docs/modules.html:

open -a "Google Chrome" ./build/sphinx/html/pyimport/docs/modules.html

Bumpversion is used to version and tag changes. For example:

bump2version patch

Releases are made on every major change.
