pyPetrograph

pyPetrograph (pypetrograph) is intended for RGB thin-section petrography: interactive labeling, pixel classifiers (e.g. LightGBM / RF / XGBoost), class maps, and mineral area (modal) fractions.

Development continues and a fuller release is on the way.

Release plan

• Early development and documentation are underway.
• Package, notebook, and docs will continue to land on GitHub.
• Versioned PyPI releases will follow as the labeling → train → predict workflow matures.
