PySide-Nova 🌟

GPU-accelerated, QML-driven UI framework for PySide.
The blazing fast twin of PySide-Quasar. Built for smooth animations and modern desktop apps.

PyPI version Python Version License

PySide-Nova is a next-generation enterprise UI framework that bridges the raw speed of QML (Qt Quick) with the robustness of Python.

While our sibling project PySide-Quasar focuses on pixel-perfect QPainter rendering for high-density industrial forms, PySide-Nova focuses on GPU hardware acceleration, smooth 60fps animations, and responsive layouts.

✨ Why Nova?

  • ⚡ GPU Accelerated: Built entirely on QML's Scene Graph. Never drop a frame.
  • 🎨 Declarative UI: Write UI like CSS, logic in Python. Clean separation of concerns.
  • 🔗 Seamless Python Integration: Native support for QProperty, signals, and slots between QML and Python.
  • 🖥️ 4K/Retina Ready: Native floating-point coordinates, zero manual DPI calculation required.

🚀 Quick Start (Coming Soon)

pip install pyside-nova
