Run tests locally

Quick start (recommended)

1. Sync dependencies:

   uv sync
   

2. Run tests:

   uv run pytest tests
   

Using a specific Python version

Create a virtual environment with a specific Python version (3.10-3.14 supported):

# Create venv with desired Python version
uv venv --python 3.14

# Activate the environment
source .venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: .venv\Scripts\activate

# Install the package and test dependencies
uv pip install . pytest pytest-asyncio

# Run tests
pytest tests
