ropex

Python package under initial development. No public API is implemented yet.

Requires Python 3.12+ and uv.

uv sync --locked
uv run --locked python -c "import ropex"
uv build

To configure PyPI trusted publishing, add a pending GitHub publisher at https://pypi.org/manage/account/publishing/ with these values:

Field Value
PyPI project name ropex
Owner jakeryderv
Repository name ropex
Workflow filename publish.yml
Environment name pypi

Create the matching pypi environment in the GitHub repository settings. Once these files are pushed to the default branch, the Publish to PyPI workflow can be run manually from GitHub Actions to build and publish the current version. Increment the version in pyproject.toml and run uv lock before later releases. No PyPI API token is required.

A pending publisher does not reserve the package name; PyPI creates the project on the first successful publication. See the PyPI documentation.

A note on package security

PyPI is a repository for distributing packages, not a service for auditing them. While third-party security researchers and our staff do their best to detect and remove malicious packages, PyPI cannot guarantee the quality, security or suitability of any given package.
