Colour output plugin for the nose testing framework
Colour output plugin for the nose testing framework.
Only works on Unix-like systems (uses ANSI colour codes).
Use nosetests --with-color (no “u”!) to turn it on.
1. Errorclasses (e.g. skips, deprecations) crash rudolf. This requires a change to nose to fix, which is currently being discussed.
2. When used with plugins that use the .report() plugin method, output from those other plugins will be suppressed. This includes the coverage plugin that’s included with nose. Again, this requires a change to nose.
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” is a popular Christmas story about Santa Claus’ ninth and lead reindeer who possesses an unusually red colored nose that gives off its own light that is powerful enough to illuminate the team’s path through inclement weather.
