Scarwise – Python SDK
Your AI agents make a mistake once. Not twice.
Guard the tools of your own Python application: a tool call that already failed the same way on this computer is stopped before it runs, with an explanation of what worked.
npm install -g scarwise # the Scarwise command (Node.js 22 or newer)
pip install scarwise
from scarwise import guard, ScarwiseStop
@guard("db.query")
def run_query(sql): ...
try:
run_query("select 1")
except ScarwiseStop as e:
print(e) # the known mistake and what worked
If the scarwise command is missing or has a problem, the tool simply runs.
