Installation
Install this tool using pip
:
pip install secrets-mgmt-cli
Usage
For help, run:
secrets-mgmt-cli --help
You can also use:
python -m secrets_mgmt_cli --help
Development
To contribute to this tool, first checkout the code. Then create a new virtual environment:
cd secrets-mgmt-cli
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate
Now install the dependencies and test dependencies:
pip install -e '.[test]'
To run the tests:
pytest

_version.py
file with__version__
dunder; how to handle this in setup.py? - create project config file from secret (
~/.config/project_name/config
) usingConfigHandler
- write new secret from config file
- overwrite/upversion a secret (designate latest?) --> "archive" secrets by renaming them
