Automatic sequence feature detection using BLAST
Project description
SeqDetect is a command line program that gives the answer to the question: I have a DNA sequence but what is in there? This software takes a DNA sequences and enriches it with sequence features in the GenBank format. It achieves that by BLASTing the sequence and extracting feature information from the GenBank files corresponding to the BLAST hit IDs.
