Sigillion

Memory for Claude Code. Sigillion keeps every session, byte for byte, compressed and sealed so that a change shows, on your own computer: only the secrets it recognises are replaced by placeholders before anything is stored, and an image or a PDF Claude looked at is pointed to by its hash, not copied. A receipt kept elsewhere proves even a whole store rewritten. Each new session starts with a short brief of where your work stands, and Claude can recall any earlier turn when it needs it.

Install, on Windows or Linux on a 64-bit Intel or AMD processor (x86_64), with Python 3.10 to 3.14 (3.15: below) and Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (to update it: claude update; installed with WinGet: winget upgrade Anthropic.ClaudeCode):

pipx install --include-deps sigillion
sigillion install

--include-deps also puts sigillion-reader, the export tool, on your PATH. sigillion status shows what is kept and how much space it takes; sigillion status --actions shows what Sigillion did for you, in four lines of counts you can share as they are; sigillion --help lists every command. To take it out: sigillion uninstall, then pipx uninstall sigillion; what was kept stays in ~/.sigillion until you delete it.

Python 3.15: zstandard, which Sigillion needs, has no ready-made package for Python 3.15 yet, so installing on 3.15 needs a C compiler until it has one; with Python 3.14 also installed, pipx install --include-deps --python 3.14 sigillion needs none. Python 3.10 to 3.14 need nothing more. Not supported yet: macOS, ARM processors (Windows on ARM, ARM Linux) and Alpine Linux.

Nothing leaves your computer: Sigillion connects to nothing outside it, sends no telemetry and checks its licence offline. What it gives Claude (the brief at a session's start and after a compaction, the turns Claude recalls, and a note naming a script an earlier session wrote when Claude is about to write one like it) becomes part of your Claude Code session, which Claude Code sends to Anthropic as it does the rest of the session. The privacy note: https://github.com/Sigillion-AI/sigillion/blob/main/PRIVACY.md

The first 30 days are a trial; after them, a licence is needed to read back what was kept, while capture goes on and everything kept can always be exported (sigillion-reader, in the sigillion-format package).
