Silex Archaeology

Silex reconstructs architecture, dependencies, workflows and business rules from the code that exists — evidence-backed context for your AI coding agents. Every answer is anchored to file:line; what Silex can't prove, it flags as unknown territory instead of guessing.

This package is the free-tier MCP server: local-first, no lock-in. Your code never leaves your machine, and there's no telemetry.

Quickstart

pip install silex-archaeology

Add it to your MCP client config (stdio — works with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, and other MCP-compatible agents):
