Python client for the Silver Bulletin data API — PELE international soccer ratings, match forecasts, and polling data.

An API key is required (issued by the maintainer).

Setup

pip install silver-bulletin-api
export SB_API_KEY=sb_..._your_key   # put this in your shell profile

Use

from sb_api import SB
sb = SB()                       # returns pandas DataFrames if pandas is installed

sb.pele.ratings()               # current PELE ratings table
sb.pele.teams("kor")            # find a team
sb.pele.upcoming("BRA")         # upcoming match forecasts
sb.polls.average("trump approval")   # published polling averages

Teams accept FIFA codes or names; dates accept 1993, 1993-06, or 1993-06-02. Endpoints your key doesn't cover raise a clear error.
