siteread

Who read your site this week, was it good, and what should you write next.

The Python client is not released yet. This 0.0.1 only prints where to find the tool.

Today siteread is an npm package (Node ≥ 20, zero dependencies). It checks whether a request claiming to be ClaudeBot, GPTBot, Googlebot and the rest came from that vendor's published IP list, and turns a Search Console export plus your access log into one weekly digest:

npx siteread check 216.73.216.12 "Mozilla/5.0 AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko; compatible; ClaudeBot/1.0; +claudebot@anthropic.com)"
npx siteread --help
