Data component 6 of smriprep-freesurfer732 7.3.2. Install the main package instead of this component; pip will install all required components automatically:
python -m pip install --no-compile smriprep-freesurfer732==7.3.2
This is an unofficial redistribution of original FreeSurfer files. It is not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by MGH, the FreeSurfer developers, or NiPreps. It provides installation and launch wrappers, not a Python rewrite of the FreeSurfer algorithms. Source file set: smriprep-0.20.0 (FreeSurfer files of the sMRIprep 0.20.0 Docker image).
FreeSurfer license required
Every user must obtain their own FreeSurfer license.txt from:
https://surfer.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/registration.html
After registration, save the supplied file outside this package and configure:
export FS_LICENSE=/absolute/path/to/license.txt
No personal license file is included or generated by these packages. Keep your license file out of source repositories and package uploads. Installing a wheel does not bypass FreeSurfer's license check.
The original FreeSurfer Software License Agreement and applicable third-party notices remain in force; see the license files distributed with the packages. System requirements and scientific validation limits are documented by the main package. Binary distributions support only their stated Linux platform.
