Real climate-socioeconomic feedback science (Burke 2015, Cattaneo 2024) -- temperature-economy nonlinearity and migration, no UTAC/CREP bridge

Project description

GenesisAeon CI Python 3.11+ License: MIT

GenesisAeon Package 96 — real climate-socioeconomic feedback science. Deliberately has no UTAC/CREP/AFET bridge, and explicitly avoids a retracted headline citation — see DISCLAIMER.md.

What's real here

  • Burke, Hsiang & Miguel (2015, Nature): economic productivity peaks at 13°C annual average temperature; unmitigated warming projected to cut average global income ~23% by 2100 and widen inequality.
  • Cattaneo et al. (2024, IMF Working Paper): climate variability projected to add 73-91 million emigrants in the 2030s, rising to 87-133 million in the 2060s.
  • Deliberately does not cite Kotz, Levermann & Wenz (2024, Nature) — retracted by Nature in December 2025 — see DISCLAIMER.md.
