softquantus

The entry point to the SoftQuantus clients. Install the product you use:

pip install "softquantus[qcos]" # QCOS SDK, CLI and MCP server
pip install "softquantus[quantumlock]" # QuantumLock client
pip install "softquantus[all]" # every client
softquantus info

pip install softquantus on its own installs no client, only the softquantus info command, which lists what is installed and the extra to install the rest. A QCOS install does not pull QuantumLock or Softquantus Cloud.

Requires Python 3.11 or newer. Clean installs are tested in CI on Linux, macOS and Windows with Python 3.11 and 3.13. The package installs clients only: SDKs, command-line tools and MCP servers that call SoftQuantus services over HTTPS. It installs no server, backend or internal service.

Extras combine: pip install "softquantus[qcos, simulation]". Each package can also be installed on its own, for example pip install softqcos-sdk.

First test

softquantus info # every client, its version, or the extra that installs it
softqcos --help
quantumlock --help

Calls to the QCOS API need an API key from platform.softquantus.com.

Versions

The softquantus version is the QCOS release number: softquantus[qcos] 3.13.1 installs QCOS SDK, CLI and MCP server 3.13.1 or newer within 3.x. QuantumLock, Softquantus Cloud and the evidence verifier have their own version lines.

TypeScript

npm install softquantus

The npm package softquantus installs @softquantus/softqcos-sdk, the QCOS TypeScript SDK, and re-exports it.
