Windows GUI Application (Required)
The MCP server is completely USELESS without the Solana Sniper Bot Windows application running. The MCP only exposes the bot's controls to your AI assistant — the bot itself (scanner, trader, GUI) runs as a Windows desktop app. You must have the Windows app installed and running for anything to work.
You need both:
| Component | What it is | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| SolanaSniperBot.exe | The Windows GUI + trading bot | Yes — required |
| solana-snipe-bot-mcp | The MCP server (lets AI control the bot) | Optional add-on |
MCP Server (for AI control)
Install the MCP server via pip:
pip install solana-snipe-bot-mcp
Or download the wheel directly from PyPI.
What Is This?
Solana Sniper Bot MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that gives AI assistants full control over the Solana Sniper Bot. It exposes 48 tools for starting and stopping the bot, buying and selling tokens, managing an RPC pool of up to 5 Helius keys with round-robin load balancing, validating strategy settings, auditing on-chain ownership, querying exit routes and P&L, monitoring Pulse trends, managing wallets, and more.
Using the MCP server tools, your agentic AI can analyze how market conditions change over time. With more than 45 tools exposed to your agent, it can continuously fine-tune bot settings and help zero in on a strategy aligned with your risk factors and preferred level of aggressiveness.
Important: The MCP server alone does nothing. It requires the Solana Sniper Bot Windows application to be installed and running. Download it here.
How It Works
Your AI Assistant (Claude, Cursor, Devin, etc.)
│
│ talks MCP (stdio)
▼
solana_snipe_bot_mcp/server.py ← runs on your machine
│
│ reads/writes JSON state files in your snipe-bot directory
▼
SolanaSniperBot.exe (optional) ← the Windows GUI / bot executable
│
▼
Helius RPC Pool (up to 5 keys) ← round-robin load-balanced RPC calls
│
▼
PumpPortal / Bitquery WebSocket ← multi-source launch detection with fallback
│
▼
Pump.fun bonding curve ← direct buy/sell instructions
Jupiter Swap v1 router ← post-graduation Pump.fun AMM / DEX swaps
The MCP server runs as a separate process and communicates with the running bot through a command_queue.json file. It also reads config.json, open_positions.json, trade_history.json, pnl_tally.json, positions_status.json, and pulse_data.json to give your AI assistant a complete, real-time view of the bot's state.
The default strategy and its evidence are documented in STRATEGY_PROFILE.md.
Quick Start
Prerequisites
- Windows 10/11
- Python 3.10+
- A funded Solana wallet (trading wallet + savings wallet keypairs)
- Helius RPC endpoint with API key
- An MCP-compatible AI assistant (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Devin, Codex, etc.)
Step 1 — Install the MCP Server
From PyPI:
pip install solana-snipe-bot-mcp
Step 2 — Configure Your AI Assistant
Set the project directory so the MCP server can find your bot's state files:
# Windows
set SOLANA_SNIPER_BOT_DIR=P:\snipe-bot
# Or on the command line when launching
python -m solana_snipe_bot_mcp
Claude Desktop
Edit claude_desktop_config.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"solana-snipe-bot": {
"command": "python",
"args": ["-m", "solana_snipe_bot_mcp"],
"env": {
"SOLANA_SNIPER_BOT_DIR": "P:\\snipe-bot"
}
}
}
}
Cursor
Edit .cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"solana-snipe-bot": {
"command": "python",
"args": ["-m", "solana_snipe_bot_mcp"],
"env": {
"SOLANA_SNIPER_BOT_DIR": "P:\\snipe-bot"
}
}
}
}
Devin
Add to mcp_config.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"snipe-bot": {
"command": "python",
"args": ["P:\\snipe-bot\\mcp_server.py"]
}
}
}
Claude Code
claude mcp add solana-snipe-bot -- python -m solana_snipe_bot_mcp
Any MCP Client (generic)
The server uses stdio transport. Launch it with:
set SOLANA_SNIPER_BOT_DIR=P:\snipe-bot
python -m solana_snipe_bot_mcp
Step 3 — Start the Bot
Ask your AI assistant:
"Start the Solana sniper bot"
The assistant calls start_bot. Then try:
"What is my wallet balance and open positions?"
Architecture
MCP Server (solana_snipe_bot_mcp/server.py)
A standalone FastMCP server that:
- Reads
config.jsonand all bot state files fromSOLANA_SNIPER_BOT_DIR - Writes commands to
command_queue.jsonfor the running bot to poll - Exposes 40 tools grouped by function
- Returns JSON summaries for config, positions, P&L, Pulse, wallet, fees, and log
Bot (snipe_bot.py)
The Windows bot that:
- Subscribes to Solana WebSocket for new token launches
- Runs safety and market filters
- Executes Pump.fun bonding-curve or Jupiter swaps
- Monitors open positions with take-profit, stop-loss, and rug signals
- Writes state files that the MCP server reads

Safety & Risk
This is a live-trading tool. The included filters reduce but do not eliminate risk. Use only funds you can afford to lose. All MCP actions execute immediately with no confirmation unless the client itself asks for one.
Pricing & License
Proprietary. A lifetime license costs $99.99 — a one-time purchase with no subscriptions or recurring fees.
Free Trial
You get a generous full week (168 hours) of actual bot running time for free. That's not 7 calendar days — it's 168 hours of live trading time. The clock only ticks while the bot is actively running. Pause it, close it, or step away, and your trial time stays put.
Why $99.99 Is a Steal
At $99.99 for a lifetime license, the app could pay for itself in just a few hours of trading. A single successful trade can recoup the entire $99.99 investment. Over time, the value from such a small one-time investment could multiply many times over.
License Key Details
- Your license key is valid for 14 days after purchase and expires on the 15th day.
- No refunds for lost or expired license keys. Keep your key safe and activate it promptly.
