Project description
Sparx is a Python module for data preprocessing and wrangling built on top of Pandas, Numpy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn and distributed under the 1-Clause BSD license.
The project was started in 2017 by Bastin Robins, Vandana Bhagat, Pallavi Murthy as a CleverInsight Hack Challenge, and since then many volunteers have contributed. See the AUTHORS.rst file for a complete list of contributors.
It is currently maintained by a team of volunteers.

Installation
Dependencies
sparx requires:
Python-dateutil (>=2.6.0)
Geopy (<=1.11.0)
Pandas (>=0.19.2)
NumPy (>=1.13.1)
Blaze (>=0.10.1)
SciPy (>=0.18.1)
Scikit-Learn (>=0.18.1)
User installation
If you already have a working installation of pandas, numpy,geopy, python_dateutil, scikit-learn and scipy, the easiest way to install scikit-learn is using pip
pip install -U sparx

Testing
After installation, you can launch the test suite from outside the source directory (you will need to have the pytest package installed):
python -m pytest -v
