sqlxx
Typed Kotlin, Python and Rust APIs generated from SQL (SQLDelight-compatible .sq files).
This package installs the native sql-gen compiler as the sqlxx command; no Python
dependencies, no JVM.
pip install sqlxx # or: uv tool install sqlxx
sqlxx python --input Dog.sq --output queries.py
sqlxx rust --input Dog.sq --output src/queries.rs
sqlxx kotlin --input Dog.sq --output Native.kt --package pets.db --database Database
sqlxx schema --input Dog.sq --migration 1.sqm --output-dir databases
Success exits 0; unsupported SQL, bad arguments and I/O errors exit 2 with a diagnostic on
stderr (SQL errors as JSON with path and byte span). Editor support: the "SQL X" VS Code
extension (optersoft.sqlxx).
Copyright (c) 2026 Optersoft, S.L. The compiler binary may be installed and used; no licence
to its source is granted. Bundled third-party components keep their own licences
(THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt).
