STalign Modern
This is a focused, maintained distribution of STalign for pairwise 2D spatial transcriptomics registration.
python -m pip install stalign-modern
The import contract used by ChatSpatial is unchanged:
from STalign import STalign
The package retains the original LDDMM optimization and point transformation path. It excludes unrelated dataset downloaders, browser annotation tools, plotting/report generation, and experimental 3D helpers. Removing optimization plots also reduces runtime dependencies from a frozen documentation environment to NumPy and PyTorch only.
The original project is GPL-3.0 licensed. See NOTICE.md for attribution and the scope of the maintained changes.
