Pre-release

This release is a pre-release and may not be stable for production use.

storage-kernel-testing

Testing utilities for Storage Kernel providers.

This package includes stream helpers and a portable provider contract test helper that provider packages can reuse in their own suites. The common contract covers binary, text and stream I/O, upload streams, overwrite protection, existence, normalized not-found behavior, file information, native copy, directory reads, content length and deletion. Provider-specific capabilities, security options and observability remain in each provider's own unit suite.

Install

uv add --dev storage-kernel-testing

Usage

from storage_kernel.testing import assert_client_contract

await assert_client_contract(client, namespace="provider-test")
