Subgraph Studio

Desktop GUI for introspecting GraphQL schemas and building VANTAGE query configurations.

Installation

From source (pip)

cd subgraph_studio
pip install .

Run directly

python -m subgraph_studio

As a CLI command (after pip install)

subgraph-studio

Docker

Build

docker build -t subgraph-studio .

Run (with X11 forwarding for GUI)

# Linux
xhost +local:docker
docker run -it --rm \
  -e DISPLAY=$DISPLAY \
  -v /tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix \
  -v $HOME/.Xauthority:/root/.Xauthority:ro \
  -v $(pwd):/data \

  subgraph-studio

Dependencies

  • Python 3.10+
  • requests - HTTP client for GraphQL requests
  • keyring - Secure credential storage
  • tkinter - GUI framework (usually included with Python; install python3-tk on Debian/Ubuntu)

Development

pip install -e ".[dev]"
