The TatukGIS Developer Kernel (DK) is a professional grade, general-purpose GIS library used to develop custom GIS applications or add geospatial functionality to existing products.

The tatukgis_pdk (DK.Python) is a natively-compiled Python module that provides the full functionality of the TatukGIS Developer Kernel.
Enterprise features of TatukGIS Developer Kernel - including support for advanced spatial databases - are not included in DK.Python.
This product is available free of charge for personal, educational, and commercial use, with the requirement that any created application must be open source.
Features
- Supports reading and writing common GIS data formats, including CSV, DLG, DGN, DXF, DWG, E00, GDF, GML, GPX, GSHHS, JSON, KML, LandXML, LAS, MIF, OSM, PLY, SDTS, ShapeFile (SHP), S57, STL, TAB, TIGER, VPF, IFC, ADF, BIL, BMP, BT, CADRG, DEM, DT, FLT, GIF, GRD, IMG, JPEG, PNG, SDTS, STRM, TIFF/GeoTIFF, ECW, JPEG2000, ESRI Personal Geodatabase, ESRI File Geodatabase, GDAL/OGR, FME, vector and image data stored in SQLite, Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL and much more. - Supports WMS, WMTS, and WFS protocols.
- Provides powerful map presentation with interactive map operations, including online geometry editing.
- Includes coordinate system support with on-the-fly reprojection of vector and image data.

Installation
DK.Python is available on pypi.org.
pip install tatukgis_pdk
Usage
Import tatukgis_pdk into your program to get started:
