Transcribe WhatsApp voice notes

Transcribe looong voice notes so you can read instead of listening.

Set environment variables

  • TELEVOICE_BOT_TOKEN: Telegram token from bot created using @BotFather
  • TELEGRAM_CLIENT_ID: Telegram client ID from @userinfobot
  • OPENAI_API_KEY: OpenAI API key from OpenAI

Installation

pip install televoice

Launch the bot

televoice

Caveats

  • Currently hard-coded to transcribe Spanish voice notes.
