⚡ Installation

pip install tenancy

🚀 Quickstart

from datetime import date
import tenancy

# Setup a 12-month lease agreement
lease = tenancy.LeaseAgreement(
    monthly_rent=3200.0,
    start_date=date(2026, 9, 1),
    duration_months=12,
    deposit_months=2,
    notice_period_months=1
)

print(f"Total Contract Value: {lease.total_contract_value:,.2f}")
print(f"Security Deposit: {lease.security_deposit:,.2f}")
print(f"End Date: {lease.end_date}")

# Rent adjustment (e.g. 5.2% CPI inflation indexation)
new_rent = lease.index_rent(inflation_rate_pct=5.2)
print(f"Adjusted Rent: {new_rent:,.2f}")
